For those of another mother tongue

An introduction to Madam Edith Diana Augutsa-Moralles

 Dear Reader,

may I introduce my humble self...

... as there is no one else who can do it so well!

Born in Franc, my family moved to Northymbra when I was very small. Of course, I am still very small, even for a mouse, but this was long enough ago that a lady blushes to say just when. All this to say that I have lived amongst these rolling green hills and deep set burrows for long enough to know what is what.

I have travelled far and wide, seeing the world for what it is. Yet my heart will always return to Northymbra. For her beauty, for her adventure, but most of all for her ale! I have made it my mission to catalogue all those places that may serve the wandering traveller, thirsting hero or weary villain, and curate this collection to highlight the best and most welcoming for those that may have the luxury of choice in these trying times.

Through this merry quest, I have come across the B.O.G, and joined their ranks as a kindred spirit (pun most definitely intended). For there is no greater joy in life than the first sip of an honest ale, and no greater calamity than discovering your brew of choice has been tampered with or left to spoil.

So, my dear Reader, take solace in these honest accounts that they may guide you to the most satisfying plates, most comfortable lodgings and, most importantly, the best beers Northymbra has to offer!

Your faithful servant,

Madam E.d.A-M
